Results of the inspection and analysis <br />shall be present to the Owner in report form. <br />Only one digester may be removed from service at a time. After the first digester is <br />cleaned, the contractor shall pump the contents of the un- cleaned digester to the cleaned <br />digester as directed by the Owner. The cleaned digester shall be placed back in service, and <br />an operational demonstration period of 30 days shall occur. When the cleaned digester has <br />been in successful operation for 30 days, the City may release the second Primary Digester <br />for cleaning. The City's existing sludge presses will not be available to the Contractor for <br />dewatering material removed from the digester. The City will provide the following: <br />• Secure the digester out of service and open the digester to the atmosphere. <br />• Provide a laydown/operational area for the contractor as near the digester as <br />reasonably possible. <br />• Provide water for cleaning and pressing. <br />• Accept wash water and pressate at the Primary Division Well at a flowrate not <br />to exceed 350 gallons per minute. <br />• Provide electric power. <br />• Run laboratory analysis typical for land disposal. Any specialized testing or <br />analysis required for landfill disposal shall be the responsibility of the <br />Contractor. <br />4. Preconstruction Services: <br />DB Preconstruction Stage <br />The DB's team (inclusive of the FOR and others assigned primarily to administer the <br />Project) will work cooperatively with the City and Criteria Engineer, and will provide (among <br />other services) schedule development, estimate development, program verification, schematic <br />design, design development, the DB's Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) /Fixed Price proposal, <br />subcontractor prequalifrcation and bidding, construction documents preparation, construetability <br />review, permits, budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction planning throughout the <br />preconstruction stages. <br />CMR Preconstruction stage deliverables will include the following at each stage of <br />preconstruction (Preliminary Design, 30 %, 60% and Design Documents) <br />• Written review of the design documents completed to date with recommended additions <br />and modifications. <br />• Constructability Review <br />• Proposed Sequence of Construction <br />• Updated Opinion of Cost <br />• Updated Schedule <br />91Pa -e <br />
