(pg. <br /> 27) <br /> Motion by Councilmember Bullock, seconded by President O'Leary to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> Discussion: Councilmember Bullock remarked that the proposal stems from discussions in the <br /> Housing Committee over the past year on light pollution. During those discussions, the <br /> Building Commissioner hesitated to have building inspectors be in charge of following up on <br /> residential complaints. Thus,the proposal proposes to have Public Safety address light trespass <br /> complaints. <br /> President O'Leary expressed appreciation for the legislation, mentioning that some ward 2 <br /> residents have had problems with light trespass. <br /> On the motion: All members voted in favor.
