Vice President Litten and Councilmember Bullock thanked the owners for being a part of the <br /> city and congratulated them on being in business for 25 years. The owners expressed their <br /> appreciation. <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Vice President Litten to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The communication was received and filed. <br /> 9. RESOLUTION 2021-12 - A RESOLUTION to recognize Lion and Blue on its 25h <br /> anniversary as a flagship retailer on Lakewood's Detroit Ave. (pg. 28) <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Resolution <br /> 2021-12. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Resolution 2021-12 was adopted. <br /> 10. Report from Councilmember Kepple regarding ADA Task Force. (to be provided) <br /> Councilmember Kepple delivered the following oral report: <br /> We recently held our first meeting of the ADA Task Force, where we predominantly <br /> discussed developing a transition plan to remove physical obstacles for the public to city <br /> property, while also installing a formal grievance process and ADA coordinator. We also <br /> explored potential programs to help businesses remove barriers and the need to appoint a <br /> chair. <br /> Councilmember Kepple made a motion, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file <br /> the report. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The report was received and filed. <br /> 11. Communication from Mayor George regarding extension of temporary outdoor dining. <br /> (pg. 29) <br />
