Laura Rodriguez-Carbone 2069 McKinley Ave. Ms. Rodriguez-Carbone spoke on behalf <br /> of the Lakewood Outdoor Basketball Committee and shared a letter detailing ideas from <br /> community members on how to improve the situation at Madison Park and other courts <br /> throughout the city. The letter is attached to these minutes. <br /> McKenzie Levi—14811 Hilliard Rd. Mr. Levi applauded the efforts to reclaim the space of <br /> the park and critiqued the use of resources in the space around the courts. <br /> Randy Brown Mr. Brown agreed that an expert should be sought out for planning and added <br /> that the list of improvements is very comprehensive. <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Vice President Litten to amend the motion to <br /> refer the communication to Committee of the Whole. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The communication was referred to Committee of the Whole. <br /> 12. Re-appointment to the Citizens Advisory Committee from Councilmember Bullock. (pg. <br /> 31) <br /> Councilmember Bullock made a motion, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file <br /> the communication. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The communication was received and filed. <br /> 13. Communication from Councilmember Rader regarding participatory budgeting proposal. <br /> (pg. 32) <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Rader to refer the <br /> communication to the Finance Committee. <br /> Two eComments supporting participatory budgeting were entered into the record and are <br /> attached to these minutes. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The communication was referred to the Finance Committee. <br />
