14. Communication from Councilmember Bullock regarding introduction of DriveOhio state <br /> program. (pg. 34) <br /> Councilmember Bullock made a motion, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file <br /> the communication. <br /> Public Comment: Luke Stedke of DriveOhio gave a brief presentation regarding automated, <br /> electronic transportation infrastructure. Councilmembers then discussed electric vehicle <br /> transportation with Mr. Stedke. <br /> On the motion: A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The communication was received and filed <br /> 15. Communication from Director Leininger regarding the Neighborhood Traffic Calming <br /> Program. (pg. 35) <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Vice President Litten to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> Discussion: Vice President Litten complimented the work ofDirector Leininger and Mr. Baas <br /> in the Planning Department. Councilmember Shachner asked if any streets are beyond data <br /> collection and will have devices implemented on the 12 city streets proposed. Director <br /> Leininger indicated that no devices are imminent and that data collection is still underway. <br /> Councilmembers expressed appreciation for the study and inquired about the program's <br /> process, specifically how information would be disseminated to the public. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The communication was received and filed. <br /> 16. Communication from Acting Building Commissioner Parmelee regarding Building Safety <br /> Month.
