Rules suspended. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Ordinance 25- <br /> 2021. <br /> Discussion: President O'Malley expressed support for the holiday and expressed pride that <br /> Lakewood is one of the first locally to recognize it in this way. <br /> On the motion: A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Shachner <br /> Motion passed. Ordinance 25-2021 adopted. <br /> 12. Communication from Lakewood Community Relations Commission in response to public <br /> safety recommendations referred April 19, 2021. (pg. 069) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to refer the communication <br /> to Committee of the Whole. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. The communication <br /> was referred to Committee of the Whole. <br /> 13. Communication from Anti-Racism Task Force in response to public safety <br /> communications referred April 19, 2021. (pg. 076) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to refer the communication <br /> to Committee of the Whole. <br /> Public Comment: Sam Pearson - 1298 Belle Ave. Mr. Pearson deferred his comments until <br /> the Committee of the Whole meeting. <br /> McKenzie Levi—14811 Hilliard Rd.
