All members <br /> voted in favor. Motion passed. Reso. 2021-22 amended. <br /> Motion by Councilmember to recommend Reso. 2021-22 as amended. All members voted in <br /> favor. Motion passed. Reso. 2021-22 recommended for adoption as amended. <br /> RESOLUTION 2021-39 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, appointing first <br /> appointee)_, (second appointeeL_, and (third appointees to the Anti- <br /> Racism Task Force for terms beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2023. <br /> President O'Malley stated that the committee would revisit Resolution 2021-39 at a later date. <br /> RESOLUTION 2021-43 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, appointing first <br /> appointee)-& (second appointees to the Audit Committee to a two-year <br /> term beginning January 1, 2022, and ending December 31, 2023. <br /> The Committee and the administration discussed the history of the Audit Committee, which has <br /> not met recently. President O'Malley remarked that while he supports the independence of the <br /> Audit Committee he believes that the City should support and encourage it to get back up and <br /> running. <br /> It was stated that one of Council's appointees, Will Costello, is interested in remaining on the <br /> Committee. Council's other appointee moved out of the City. The Committee directed Council <br /> staff to put out a call for applicants for this upcoming vacancy. <br /> RESOLUTION 2021-44 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, appointing <br /> to the Board of Nuisance Abatement Appeals for the three-year term <br /> beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2024. <br /> The Committee directed Council staff to put out a call for applicants for this upcoming vacancy. <br /> 3 <br />
