Communication from Mayor George, Director Corrigan, and Commissioner Parmelee <br /> regarding proposed changes to Chapter 13 of the Building Code. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 18. ORDINANCE 04-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council amending <br /> certain penalties within Chapter 13 Building Code, of the Lakewood Codified <br /> Ordinances to establish more appropriate penalties for violation of the Property <br /> Maintenance and Safety Code. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to refer Ordinance 04-2022 <br /> to the Housing, Planning & Development Committee. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 04-2022 referred to Housing, Planning <br /> & Development Committee. <br /> 19. ORDINANCE 05-2022 —AN ORDINANCE to take effect November 30, 2022 <br /> enacting requirements for structural engineer reports from property owners for the <br /> facade of any occupiable structure 30 years old and more than four stories in height, for <br /> any underground parking structure and any above ground parking structure. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to refer Ordinance 05-2022 <br /> to the Housing, Planning & Development Committee. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 05-2022 referred to Housing, Planning <br /> & Development Committee. <br /> 20. Communication from Mayor George regarding mayoral appointments to the City of <br /> Lakewood's Audit Committee. <br /> President O'Malley recognized Anne Spence and Jon Watts, who were present at the meeting. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> 8 <br />
