ORDINANCE 12-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the <br /> affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council amending Section 743.03 <br /> Mobile Food Service Operation Permit of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to <br /> change the expiration date to better reflect the mobile food service season. (pg. 66) <br /> Discussion: President O'Malley asked a series of questions regarding the timing of the <br /> permitting. Fire Chief Dunphy, Building Commissioner Parmelee, and Mayor George detailed <br /> the process. President O'Malley asked for reassurance that the trucks that are getting their <br /> permits extended have no outstanding violations with the City. The administration confirmed that <br /> to be the case. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to suspend the rules and allow <br /> for adoption of Ordinance 12-2022 on first reading. <br /> On the motion: A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The rules were suspended. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Ordinance 12-2022. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Ordinance 12-2022 was adopted. <br /> 20. Communication from Mayor George regarding a mayoral appointment to the Civil Service <br /> Commission.
