On the motion: A roll call vote was taken as follows: Yeas —Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Shachner Nays —Rader Motion passed. Substitute Resolution 2022-18 was adopted. Cindy Marx was appointed to the Ward 4 Council seat. 2. Oath of office ceremony for Cindy Marx. (pg. 2) Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the oath. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Judge Neff delivered the Oath of Office to Cindy Marx, who was surrounded by friends and family. 3. Committee of the Whole Report regarding meetings held May 13, 2022. (pg. 3) Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the report. All in favor. RESOLUTION 2022-22 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, approving the appointment of Chad Berry to the position of Director of Human Services upon his or her taking the oath of office. We had a really good discussion with ChiefKaucheck about the data points from early 2017 and how they may be different due to a system switch.
