22. ORDINANCE 27-2022 -AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, creating the <br /> "Opioid Settlement Fund"for receipt of funds for the OneOhio Opioid Distributor <br /> Settlement for eligible expenses pursuant to the OneOhio memorandum of <br /> understanding related to Ohio Abatement Strategies including Community Recovery, <br /> Statewide Innovation & Recovery, and Sustainability. (pg. 047) <br /> Motion by Councilmember Shachner, seconded by Vice President Kepple to suspend the rules <br /> to allow adoption on first reading. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Marx, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The rules were suspended. <br /> Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Rader to adopt Ordinance 27- <br /> 2022. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Marx, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Ordinance 27-2022 was adopted. <br /> 23. Communication from Finance Director Rancatore regarding the rental of certain city <br /> facilities. (pg. 049) <br /> Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Rader to receive and file the <br /> communication. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 24. ORDINANCE 28-2022 -AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, amending <br /> various sections of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances to establish fees for the use of <br /> Cove Community Center and to update the fees charged for all properties available to <br /> the public to rent. (pg. 050) <br /> Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Rader to refer Ordinance 28- <br /> 2022 to the Public Works & Sustainability Committee. <br />
