Mr. Ducu thanked Council and the Administration, explaining that it was his honor to serve the <br /> City of Lakewood. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2022-46 was adopted. <br /> 10. Beautiful Home Awards from Keep Lakewood Beautiful. (pg. 033) <br /> Discussion: Chair ofKeep Lakewood Beautiful Melissa Meehan introduced the organization to <br /> Council and described how thankful members have been for the support of the City. <br /> New Member ofKeep Lakewood Beautiful Hannah Gaul gave a presentation for the Beautiful <br /> Home Awards and recognized the winners. <br /> Motion by Acting President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to receive and file <br /> presentation. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 11. Communication from Engineer Papke regarding Lakewood Park Skateboard Park Phase <br /> IL (pg. 039) <br /> Motion by Acting President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to receive and file <br /> written communication. <br /> Discussion: Councilmember Baker asked about the specific dollar amount the Administration is <br /> seeking regarding the Land Water Conservation Fund. <br /> Assistant Law Director Swallow explained that the amount has not been identified just yet. <br /> Councilmember Bullock suggested a formal hearing to the Public Works Committee to speak <br /> about the fund by the due date ofNovember IS'h. <br /> Acting President Kepple thanked the Administration for the work done on Lakewood's <br /> skateboard park and suggested that Lakewood's skating community might want to share their <br /> thoughts during a meeting with the Public Works Committee. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. Communication was received and filed. <br /> 12. RESOLUTION 2022-43 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately providing it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of the Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> authorizing the City Engineer to file Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant <br /> Application with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for Lakewood <br /> Skate Park Phase II project and to authorize matching funds to satisfy the requirements <br /> of the grant. (pg. 040) <br /> Motion by Acting President Kepple, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to refer Resolution <br /> 4 <br />
