25.08 If an employee is injured in the line of duty, and as a result of said injury is placed on <br />sick leave during any scheduled vacation period, said employee shall be credited with those <br />vacation days so affected, and upon return to full-time duty be permitted to reselect his or her <br />vacation days in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. <br />25.09 Dispatchers shall be permitted to accumulate a total of fifty (50) working days of <br />vacation time. Vacation time acquired but not used in excess of fifty (50) days shall be forfeited <br />on December 31 St of each year. <br />A. All personnel will be required to use at least ten (10) vacation days in every year. <br />B. Any days in excess of the days to which an employee is entitled may be placed <br />into a bank for accumulation. <br />25.10 An employee who has notified the Chief of Police in writing of the date of retirement, <br />shall not be required to make a minimum vacation selection, as required in Section 25.09 above. <br />25.11 Effective January 1, 2023, members shall receive credit for prior service with the State of <br />Ohio or any political subdivision of the State of Ohio for the purposes of vacation hours <br />earned. Verification of prior service credit shall be provided to the human resources <br />department by the employee from the appropriate retirement system. <br />25.12 Following their selection of two (2) weeks vacation time, vacation time may be taken in <br />one (1) hour increments with the approval of the shift commander. <br />ARTICLE 26 WAGES <br />26.01 The following indicate wages increases, and rates can be found in Appendix A. <br />There shall be a three (3%) wage increase effective January 1, 2023. All full-time employees <br />shall be paid at the following hourly rate: <br />26.02 Effective January 1, 2024, there shall be a three(3%) wage increase. All full-time <br />employee shall be paid at the following hourly rate: <br />26.03 Effective January 1, 2025, there shall be a three percent (3%) wage increase. All full- <br />time employees shall be paid at the following hourly rate: <br />The City will provide a stipend of $500 to all full-time employees covered by this Agreement for <br />proficiency in "LEADS." This stipend will be paid in January of each year. Additionally, the <br />City will provide an additional $35/per hour for LEADS proficiency, and the performance of <br />Matron duties. <br />Dispatchers with 20 years of service shall receive a three (3) percent base pay increase. <br />26.02 For as long as the certification remains appropriate in the employer's judgment, <br />Dispatchers will be trained and maintain certification for Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD). <br />20 <br />
