Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to adopt the substituted version of Ordinance 32-2022. Discussion: Clerk Bach answered a claming question regarding the need for a substitute version. The substituted version of Ordinance 32-2022 was adopted. ***NEW BUSINESS*** 8. Communication from President Litten regarding upcoming board & commission vacancies. (pg. 069) Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Rader to receive and file the communication. All in favor. Motion passed. 9. RESOLUTION 2022-47 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, appointing Angelina Steiner, Carol Moss Chapman, and William Yeung to the Anti-Racism Task Force for terms beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2024. (pg. 070) Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Bullock, to adopt Resolution 2022-47. All in favor. Motion passed. 10. RESOLUTION 2022-48 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, appointing Jeffrey Pigott to the Board of Zoning Appeals for the five-year term beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2027.
