Discussion: Councilmember Rader and Councilmember Baker expressed that they know Mr. <br /> Pigott well and they support his appointment to the Board. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 11. RESOLUTION 2022-49 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> appointing to the Board of Building Standards/Architectural <br /> Board of Review for the five-year term beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December <br /> 31, 2027. (pg. 072) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to refer Resolution 2022-49 <br /> to Committee of the Whole. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 12. RESOLUTION 2022-50 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> appointing Dawn Ellis and Mariah McGunigle to the Lakewood Heritage Advisory <br /> Board for terms beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2026. ORDINANCE 12-2021A - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect at the earliest period allowed by law, to amend S. Ord. 12-2021, adopted March <br /> 15, 2021,to remove the sunset date of the original legislation and permanently expanding <br /> rental rights within eh City of Lakewood by allowing renters who tender their full rent <br /> plus any additional late fees and court costs,prior to an eviction hearing to avoid eviction <br /> for late payment of rent and setting reasonable late fees that a landlord may charge a <br /> tenant.
