(ARPA) funds for accessibility expansion at Lakewood Public Library Madison Branch. <br />(pg. 24) <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Rader to adopt Resolution 2023-23. <br /> <br />Discussion: Councilmember Baker suggested the removal of Vice President KeppleÓs name at the <br />top of the resolution because of her abstaining. <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Rader to amend previous motion and <br />strike name Kepple from Resolution 2023-23. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Rader to adopt Resolution 2023-23 as <br />substituted. <br />A voice call vote was conducted as follows: <br />Yeas- Baker, Bullock, Litten, Marx, Rader, Shachner <br />Nays- <br />Abstain- Kepple <br /> <br />Motion passed. Resolution 2023-23 was adopted as substituted. <br /> <br />12. Communication from President Litten regarding August Recess. (pg. 26) <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file communication. <br />All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to recess for the month of August, <br />thst <br />including the Council meetings scheduled on August 7 <br /> and 21. <br /> <br />A role call was taken as follows: <br />Yeas- Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Marx, Rader, Shachner <br />Nays- <br /> <br />On the motion: Motion passed. Council will recess during the month of August. <br /> <br />13. Communication from Vice President Kepple regarding Community Health Needs Standing <br />Committee name change. (pg. 27) <br /> <br />Motion by Vice President Kepple, seconded by President Litten to receive and file communication. <br />All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />14. RESOLUTION 2023-21 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br />to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law to change the name of <br />the Community Health Needs Standing Committee to the Community Health Action Team <br />(CHAT).
