President Litten further amended the above motion to refer Resolution 2023-43 to the Public Safety <br />Committee and to the Lakewood Animal Safety & Welfare Advisory Board. All members in favor. <br />Motion passed. <br />***PUBLIC COMMENT**** <br />Jean Powe 2228 Emily Ave <br />Ms. Powe expressed concerns regarding the flooding that occurred on August 23, and impacted <br />the majority of homeowners on her street. She spoke of the economic hardships and burdens the <br />flooding caused. She would like to know why this is happening and what the plan is to prevent <br />this from happening again. She also expressed concerns that property values will be negatively <br />impacted if this becomes an ongoing issue. <br />Greg Siloy 2228 Emily Ave <br />Mr. Siloy followed up on the comments of Ms. Powe and asked if the city knows what is happening <br />to cause the flooding.
