(pg. 4) <br /> <br />Councilmember Marx read the communication from the Lakewood Safety & Welfare Advisory <br />Board expressing their support for Resolution 2023-43 to raise the adoption fees. <br /> <br />Motion made by Councilmember Marx and seconded by President Litten to receive and file the <br />communication. RESOLUTION 2023-43 – A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take effect <br />and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, to increase the adoption fees for <br />animals that are adopted through the Lakewood Animal Shelter.
