Ordinance 13-2023A adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />7. Report from Housing, Planning & Development Committee regarding meetingheld <br />November 13, 2023. (pg. 13) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Bullock, seconded by President Litten to receive and file the <br />communication. <br /> <br />Discussion: Councilmember Shachner shared his excitement about the potential passage of this <br />ordinance, and he thanked everyone involved in crafting the ordinance for their hard work. <br /> <br />Councilmember Baker shared that this is anexample of how a good process can produce a good <br />outcome. He also stated that he has a small amendment he will propose. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rader shared that affordability and being able to age in place are key to the <br />success and longevity of our community and he thanked everyone for their involvement. <br /> <br />On the motion: All in favor, motion passed. <br />8. S. ORDINANCE 07-2023 –AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of Council, or otherwise to take <br />effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, amending Sections 1103.02 <br />Definitions, 1121.03 Permitted Accessory Uses, 1121.09 Maximum Lot Area Coverage, <br />1123.03 Permitted Accessory Uses, 1123.04 Conditionally Permitted Uses, 1123.09 <br />Maximum Lot Coverage, 1133.06 Conversion of Single-Family Structure Prohibited, and <br />1161.03 Supplemental Regulations for Specific Uses of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />st <br />City of Lakewood in order to update the provisions. (1 read and referred to PC & HPD <br />nd <br />3/20/23, 2 reading 4/3/23; recommended out of PC 10/5/23) (pg. 15) <br /> <br />Motion made by Councilmember Bullock to substitute the ordinance with the version that <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
