ORDINANCE NO. 81=39' Page -4~- After 1983, all elections for Council shall be for four year terms except for those elections for unexpired terms necessitated by Section 9 of Article III. The next question to be submitted to the electors shall be: C. Shall Article XI of the Charter of Mayfield Village, Ohio, be amended by deleting the first sentence, which now reads: "At the general election in November of 1980 and at the general election in November of each tenth year thereafter, a Charter Review Commission of 11 members shall be elected." and replaced by the following wording: "At the general election in November of 1980, and at the general election in November of each fifth year thereafter, a Charter Review Commission of 11 members shall be elected." The ballot question for this proposition shall be: (C) Shall the Charter of Mayfield Village be amended to provide for the election of a non-paid Charter Review Commission every five years instead of every ten years? The next question to be presented to the electors shall be: D. Shall Article XI of the Charter of Mayfield Village be amended by changing the sentence in the first paragraph thereof, which now reads: "No elected official of the municipality shall be eligible to serve on a Charter Review Commission." to read as follows: "'No elected official or employee of the~rnunicipality shall be eligible to serve on a Charter Review Commission." The ballot question for the above proposition shall be: (D) Shall the qualifications for membership on the Charter Review Commission of Mayfield Village, which now excludes membership by any elected official of the municipality, be further restricted to exclude membership by employees of the municipality? The next question to .be presented to the electors shall be: E, Because of the current wording of various Sections of the Charter dealing with Boards and Commissions of the municipality, membership on the Charter Review Commission might disqualify a person from also serving on other Boards or Commissions. Shall this prohibition be struck from the Charter by including the following sentence in Article XI at the end of the first paragraph: "Election to the Charter Review Commission of Mayfield Village shall not, under any circumstance, disqualify a person from serving as. a:.non=.paid member.on~.:any:_other Board ~:or~~.Commrsson,of the municipality."
