ORDINANCE NO. 8-1-39 ; <br />Page -5- - - " <br />The ballot question for this item shall be: <br />(.E) Shall the qualifications of the Charter Review <br />Commission of Mayfield Village, which now prohibit Charter <br />Review Commission members from serving on certain other. <br />Boards and Commissions of the municipality, be corrected to ' <br />allow service on other Boards and Commissions? . <br />The next question to be submitted to the electors shall be: <br />F. Shall Section 6(B ).('1) of the Charter which now reads: <br />"All regular full-time employees of the Police Department <br />including the Chief of Police shall be in.the classified <br />service" be amended to read: "All regular full-time members <br />of the Police Department, includ'rig the Chief of Police but <br />excluding those not having statutory misdemeanor arrest powers <br />shall be in the classified section."' <br />The ballot question shall be: <br />(~F) Shall the Charter of Mayfield Village be amended to <br />remove police dispatchers and other police clerical and admini'•~ <br />strative employees who do~ not.have ,arrest .power .from the.~clas.s:~fiec~ <br />Civil Serviced <br />The next question to be submitted to the electors shall be: <br />G. Shall Section 6(Bj(3) of the Charter of Mayfield <br />Village which now reads: "The Clerk of Council and the <br />secretary to the Mayor, whether they be full.-time or part time <br />employees, shall be in the unclassified service" be amended <br />to read: "The Clerk. of Council,. secretaries to department <br />heads and elected officials and administrative assistants <br />to department heads and elected officials, whether they be <br />full-time or part--time employees, shall be in the unclassified <br />service." <br />The ballot question shall be: <br />(G) Shall the Charter of Mayf°ield Village be amended <br />to allow the secretaries and administrative assistants of <br />department heads and elected officials to be hired in the <br />unclassified Civil Service? <br />The next question to be. submitted to the electors shall be: <br />H. Shall a new Section 6(F) be added to Article V of <br />the Charter of 1~iayfield Village, dealing.,-with the Civil Service <br />Commission, read as follows: <br />Power to Appoint 'arid Promote <br />The Mayor, in making any original appointment to a <br />position within the classified service or in <br />making any promotions to a position in the <br />classified service shall be provided by the Civil <br />Service Commission with a list of the three <br />
