TTY <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 21st day of <br />January , 1980, by and Between HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />and the City of Willoughby Hills, Ohio. <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, Section 717.02 and 717.021 of the Revised Code of <br />Ohio authorize any municipal corporation, in order to obtain additional <br />fire protection, to enter into contracts for the services of the Fire <br />Department or the use of Fire Department equipment within the terri- <br />tories of the contracting municipalities; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of these contracting municipalities <br />to provide for mutual assistance and the interchange and use of Fire <br />Department equipment and personnel in cases of emergency within the <br />territories of the contracting municipalities; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to best protect the safety of human life <br />as well as the property of our residents, it is extremely important <br />to the contracting municipalities to provide expedient and complete <br />fulfillment of this mutual aid agreement as an integral part of the <br />contracting municipalities' overall programs of fire protection; and <br />sure and complete implementation of this Agreement is particularly <br />necessary where one of the contracting parties has less than a full <br />complement of firefighters for any reason whatsoever; <br />IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED by and between the parties hereto as <br />follows: <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />
