Section 4~,--Through hi~,,hwa~'s The following streets are hereby declared to be through high- ti•~ays, to-wit; S.Oali. Center Road t~'ilson Bills Road and stop signs shall be erected at the intersection of each street intersecting such through hight•raysA Section 5.---Stow Streets `!'he driver of a vehicle approaching any street that is now or hereafter may be declared a through highway, unless otherwise directed by a police officer or a traffic control signal, shall bring said vehicle to a stop before encoring or crossing said through highway. F'or the purpose of this ordinance the following streets and parts of streets are hereby declared •co be~streets in a business or closely built up portion of the Village, to-T~rit: 5.0.11. Center Road from a point 1000 feet Vorth of ~~Jilson T~Iills Road to a ~cint 1000 feet South of d~~ilson Iiills Road. Z~ilson I•Iills Road, from a point 1000 feet East c~~ S.O.i~.. Center Road to a point 1000 feet d~~est of S.O.I~i. Center Road. The Chief of Police is hereby directed to install and maintain appropriate signs designating such district. Section 7,--Dut.y and Authority of Chief of Po11ce. It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to enforce the provisions of this ordinance, and said Chief of Police is hereby empowered with full authority to direct .all traffic either by person or by means of visible or audible signs in conformance ~,rith the ~2rovisions of this ordinance. $t shall be his duty to install and maintain stop signs, traffic. control signals, and traffic Control devices directed to be installed from time to time by the Council or by this ordinance, and he is hereby author- s ~ ed:
