t (a) To install and erect ti-e~ffic signs, semaphores ar stanchions upon any street for the direction of traffic . " (b) To establish and designate safety zones and create quiet zones. (c) To temporarily close any street or highway, or parts thereof, to vehicular traffic or to vehicles of certain description. (d) To designate certain streets upon which trucking or heavy carting shall be prohibited. (e) To temporarily divert traffic on any street or part thereof . (f) To establish traffic lanes on paved streets. (g~ To prescribe the manner, location and time limit of parking of vehicles. (h') To prescribe such rules and regulations as he may deem necessary for the direction of traffic, not inconsist- ent tnrith the provisions of this ordinance. Section 8--Authorized Automatic Traffic Control Si„~nals. Automatic traffic control signals are hereby directed to be installed and operated at the following intersections, to wit: S.O.T. Center Road at Wilson Mills Road Section y--Obey Police Officer.
