g. All improvements shall meet tra.th the specifications attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof and shall be approved by the <br />Village Engineer. <br />B. Procedure: <br />a. The Owner's Engineer shall submit to the Village Engineer a]1 <br />Improvement Plans for his approval. The plans for water shall <br />be sent 'co the Cleveland Water Department for required approval; <br />the plans and profiles for sewers shall be sent to the Cuyahoga <br />County Saniā¢tar~r Engineering Department for required approval; <br />copies of these approvals shall be filed with the Village Engineer. <br />b. A set of duplicate tracings of a71 Improvement Plans shat be <br />filed with the Village Engineer before any construction may <br />be started. Complete specifications shall be approved by the <br />respective agencies and filed in triplicate frith the <br />Village Engineer® <br />c. The Owner shall deposit with the Village Clerk a sum fixed in <br />amount by the Village Engineer to_ _defray aL. expenses incurred <br />by the Village Engineer in checking plans and specifications <br />and, in, addition, all costs of inspection by the Vil7 age <br />Engineer and the Village Inspector during construction of <br />said inmrovernents, and cost of damages to existing facilities, <br />the fees of the Village Engineer and Village Inspector shall <br />be based on the ordinance governing fees and rates of compen- <br />sation for the Village Engineer. If the sum fixed proves to <br />be inadequate, the Owner, upon notice to do so, shall deposit <br />such additional amount forthwith. If there is a sazrplus, <br />such excess shat be retLU°ned to the O~~rner. This deposit <br />shall be in the Village Treasury before any work is done by <br />the Village Engineer to the approved established grade, plans, <br />and specifications for all underground improvements. If such <br />deficiencies of these funds occur during the construction of <br />the improvements the Owner shall have a period of seven days <br />to make the necessary deposit; if the O«ner fails to comp];r, <br />the Village Engineer may order the discontinuance of the <br />construction of the improvements until the Owner complies <br />with the regulations. As soon as the established grade is <br />approved by the Village Engineer, the plan therefor sha11 be <br />submitted by him_to Council for its approval. As soon as plans <br />and specifications have been approved by the Vi],7,age Engineer, <br />Cuyahoga County Sanitary Engineer, Cleveland Water Department, <br />and Council, the _yOFmer may proceed with construction. <br />d. The Owner shall enter into contract with a Contractor for the <br />following listed improvements: <br />1) Contract for clearing, grubbing, and grading the streets. <br />2) Contract for storm and sanita?y sewers; water main, a17. <br />_ curb connections, and appurtenances. <br />
