In the event arty licensed publ.ie vehicle shall become disabled or dis~a.l.ified for fu:°ther service as such, or shal:.l. be sold, the Mayor may, in his discretion, permit the transfer of the license granted f®r such public-vehicle to and for the use of another public vehicle owned by the licensee, provided the licensee seeking such transfer shall be in compl.i.ance with the requirements of sub-paragxapYis (a), (b) and (c) of this Section 2 with respect to the public vehicle to which the license is to be transferred. Sec. 3. License Card. The issuance of arty license tinder Section 2 hereof shall be evidenced .by-.a card, ,in such size and form as may be prescribed by the Mayor, bearing ' the official license number of. the public vehicle, the state license number of such vehicle, the date of inspection of the same and a statement to the effect that in. case of any complaint, the Mayor or Chief of Police shall. be notified and shall be given the license ntunber of such public vehicls. Such card shall be signed by the Mayor and shall contain blank spaces upon which entry may be made of the date of each inspection of the vehicle. Such card shall be delivered to the owner of such vehicle, and shall be conspicuously displayed iri such vehicle in manner prescribed by the Mayor. Sec: 1~.. Surety Bond or Liability Ir_surance. No public vehicle shall be licensed hereunder or be operated for .hire upon the streets of the Village of T'Zayfield unless the owner thereof has deposited with. the Mayor either (a) A bond with a solvent and responsible surety company authorized to do business tznd.er laws of the State of Ohio, as surety thereon, and acceptable to and approved by the Mayor and Sol,~.citor of the Village, conditioned that the principal wil.1 pay on final judgment recovered, against hisn. For injury to one person up to the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars .050,000.00)., for injtu~ to more than one person up to the sum of One hundred Thousand Dollars (~100~,000.00), and for property damage up to the sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars 025,000,•00), incurred in any one accident arising from~the ®peration of such public vehie~, provided that a person seeking a license to operate, or operation, not more than fivs public vehicles may file and maintain with the Mayor a bond to secure the operations of aL such public vehicles and carrying indemnities in not less than double the amount of those hereinbefore specified. Said policy shall contain a clause obligating the insurance company to give_.teh (10) days ~.tten notice to the Mayor before cancellation of such policy and the license for such public vehicle shall expire upon the lapse or termination of the said policy of insurance. Every' such bond or policy of insurance shall contain provision for c ont3nuirig liability tliereunder to the full. amount thereof, notwithstanding any recovery thereon. If at any time, in the judgment ~of the Mayor, .such bond or policy shall for any cause be deemed insufficient; the Mayor may regazire the owner of such licensed public vehicle to replace the saaae with another sufficient bond or policy approved by the I`~ayor and Solicitor. Sec. 5. Filing Statements of Claims and 11~mands.
