rendered against such licensed holder which arise out of the operation of public <br />vehicles and which remain unsatisfied as of the date of such statement. The form <br />of such statement sha.11 be prescribed by the Mayor. Failure to comply with the <br />requirements of this section shall subject such license holder to the penalty <br />prescribed in Section 15 hereof and each day's failure or neglect shall cons•17itute <br />a separate offense. - <br />Sec. 6. Fees for Public Vehicle Licenses. For the licensing of each pubic <br />vehicle under Sec ion 2 heroof,_.a fee of en ollars 010.00) per annum shall be <br />charged, provided that in the case of the issuance of arty such license on and <br />after October first in any year, half of such fee shall be charged. <br />Sec. 7. Suspension or Revocation of Public Vehicle Licenses. The liayor <br />shall revoke or suspend any license granted under.section.,2 hereof for failure <br />of the licensee to maintain surety bond or liabilit;~ insurance in accordance <br />with the requirements of Section ~., or to maintain such public vehicle in clean, <br />fit and thoroughly safe condition for the transportation of passengers, or in the <br />event such public vehicle shall be used for immoral or illegal purposes. Any <br />license revoked by reason of the use of the licensed vehicle for immoral or <br />illegal purposes shall not be reissued or reinstated. <br />Any license suspended or revoked for the other causes herein specified may <br />be reinstated or reissued when the cause of said suspension or revocation shall <br />have been cured and upon payment of the cost incw°red in such reinstatement. <br />Sec. 8, Licensing of Pubic Vehicle Drivers. No public vehicle shall be <br />op'erate;d fog YIixe u~3b~ ~Yig st~?eets .aiid ~ii'~,,k"w~.ys rIf the Village of Nkayfield <br />except by a driver holding a license issued in compliance with the terms of this <br />ordinance, Each applicant fora license to operate a public vehicle shall <br />possess -the fo]1oiring qualifications and meet the following requirements. <br />(a) He shall be of the age of twenty-one (21) years or over, shal]. be an <br />American citizen or shall have declared his intention to become such citizen, and <br />shall be a bona fide resident of Cuyahoga County for at least thirty (30) days <br />next preceding the date of such application; <br />(b) He shall be of sound physa.que with good eye-sight and not subject to <br />epilepsy, vertigo, k~eart®trouble, or any other infirmity of body or mind whiciz <br />might render him unfit for safe operation of a public vehicle. <br />(c) He shall be able to speak, read and write the English language. <br />(d) He shall be clean in dress and person, and not addicted to the use of <br />intoxicating liquors or drugs. <br />(e) He shall. submit the names and addresses of at least two persons not <br />related to him as character references. <br />(f) He shall submit a statement setting forth his full name, residence, <br />places. of residence for the five years previous to moving to his present address, <br />age, color, height, color of eyes and hair, place of birth, length of time he <br />has resided in Cuyahoga County, whether a citizen of the United States, places <br />of previous employment, whether married or single, whether he has ever been <br />arrested or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, whether he has been summoned to <br />court, whether he has previously been licensed as a driver or chauffeur and, if <br />
