The <br />total area o~ the signs on a lot shall not exceed <br />one square fcot for each lineal foot of frontage <br />of the bui]~iing or buildings. <br />Production -Distribution District <br />Development, identification, business, directional <br />and informational types of signs, designed as wall, <br />projecting, marquee, ground or pole signs shall <br />be permitted as accessory t o the main uses. Signs -More than 660 Feet from Interstate System <br />If any main use permitted under the provisions of this <br />Section is located more than 660 feet from the r-o-w <br />line of the Interstate System, signs accesso~~y to such <br />use or activity shall be in accord with the regulation s <br />for an activity within the 660 foot band, subsection <br />~ (b) above and other applicable provisions of this <br />Section. <br />7. Location of Signs <br />Signs of the type permitted may be located on the <br />surface of a building, project from a building or <br />erected on poles or other ground support in yards as <br />follows: <br />a. Attached to Buildings <br />Any wall sign shal 1 not project more than 1-1/2 <br />feet from the wall of a building, <br />Any projecting sign shall not extend more than <br />20 feet above the wall of the building to which <br />it is attached, <br />Any wall or projecting sign shall not extend beyond <br />the corner of a building, <br />Marquee signs may be located on the soffit or <br />attached to the fascia of a marquee or continuous <br />entrance roof <br />b. Located in Yards <br />Ground and pole signs may be located in required <br />yards but not less than the following distances: <br />-20- <br />
