f. The Owner, after all permanent paving has been completed, must <br />install at his own expense public sidewalks and landscaping, in <br />accordance with the specifications attached hereto, made a part <br />hereof, and entitled: 'Concrete Sidewalks' and 'Surfacing and <br />Seeding'. The Owner must also install concrete aprons from the <br />sidewalk to the street curbs; each apron must be a minimum of 10 <br />feet in width at the sidewalk line and a minimum of 2 f eet wider <br />on each side of the apron at the curb than at the sidewalk line. <br />If, however, the Owner wishes to protect the sidewalk and aprons <br />from damage during the process of construction of buildings on <br />the premises, he may furnish a surety bond or security in such <br />form as may be approved by Council and the Village Solicitor,in <br />the amount of 100% of the estimate of the cost of construction <br />of such sidewalks and aprons as calculated by the Village Engineer, <br />guaranteeing to the Village that such work will be completed <br />within a period of two years from the time of the completion of <br />the permanent paving, unless Council, upon good cause shown, <br />shall extend the time. If, however, after two years, or after <br />the period of extension granted by Council, the said improvements <br />have not been installed, Council may authorize the work to be <br />completed and then may proceed against the Owner and its surety <br />for reimbursement. <br />The Owner shall install street signs in accordance with the <br />specifications attached to Ordinance No. 468, as amended by <br />Ordinance No. 566, which specifications are entitled: "Street <br />Signs". All of said improvements must be approved by the <br />Village Engineer. <br />g. All improvements shall meet with the specifications attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof and shall be approved by the <br />Village Engineer. <br />B. Procedure: <br />a, The Ocaner's Engineer shall submit to the Village Engineer all <br />Improvement Plans for his approval. The plans for water shall <br />be sent to the Cleveland Water Department for required approval; <br />the plans and profiles for sewers shall be sent to the Cuyahoga <br />County Sanitary Engineering Department for required approval; <br />copies of these approvals shall be filed with the Village Engineer. <br />b. A set of duplicate tracings of all Improvement Plans shall be <br />filed with the Village Engineer before any construction may be <br />started. Complete specifications shall be approved by the <br />respective agencies and filed in triplicate with the Village <br />Engineer. <br />c. The Owner shall deposit with the Village Clerk a sum fixed in <br />amount by the Village Engineer to defray all expenses incurred <br />by the Village Engineer .in checking plans and spec if ications and, <br />
