4.2 Protocols. The CEM BOARD shall prepare and adopt Ch1EIMS Protocols and <br />shall submit them with recammended Effective Dates to the COUNTY for <br />? <br />consideration. <br />i 4.3 6uidelines. The CEM BOARD shall prepare and approve CPtEIMS Guidelines. <br />4_4 Emergency Management Entity. The CEM HOARD shall provide adiice on the <br />establishment, staffing, operations, and maintenance of the COUNTY's <br />Emergency Management entity defined in Section 2.1 af this Agreement. <br />4.5 Capacity Inventory. The CEM BOARD shall assist the COUNTY in the <br />development and maintenance of the inventory of Emergency Management <br />Capacity. <br />4.6 Emergency Operations Plan. The CEM BOARD shall advise and assist the <br />COUNTY in the preparation of the Emergency Operations Plan. <br />4.7 Training_ The CEP1 BOARD shall advise and assist the COUNTY in the <br />delivery of training in connection with Emerqency Management and on the <br />utilization o{ the CMEIMS Protocols and CMEIh1S 6uidelines. <br />4.8 Volunteers_ The CEM BOARD sha11 assist the COUNTY in the recruitment <br />and training of volunteers. <br />, 4.9 Emergency Management Agreements. The CE[1 BOARD ehall advise the COUNTY <br />an agreements into which the COUNTY should enter with private and <br />puhlic entities for the provision ofi Emergency Management Capacity in <br />the event of a MaSor Emergency Incident. <br />{: 4,10 Puhlic Education. The CEM BOARD, with the assistance of the COUNTY, <br />shall develop, deliver, and/or assist in the develapment and delivery <br />ij of programs to educate the public on Emergency Management. <br />i' <br />ARTICLE 5 <br />• Ct£IttS (XVAttMITY'S SERNICES <br />; The CMEIMS COMMLINITY accepts the relationship of trust and confidence hetween <br />the COUNTY, the CEM HOARD, and the CMEIMS COMMUNITY and 6y this Agreement <br />° agrees that it shall provide Emergency Management Capacity in connection with <br />? the CMEIMS, including hut not limited to the follawing: <br />5.1 Emergency Management Capacity. In the event of a Ma,ior Emergency <br />Incident in any other CMEIMS Community, the CMEIMS COMMUNITY shall make <br />the Emergency Management Capacity requested hy the COUNTY availa6le <br />insoPar as possible without withdrawing from the CMEIMS COMMUNITY the <br />minimum Emergency Management Capacity needed by the CMEIMS COMMLINITY. <br />Page 7 of 11 <br />iI
