ORDINANCE N0. 85-16 <br />Page -15- <br />on the lot where the sale is taking place, which sign shall not <br />exceed three (3) square feet in area and which shall remain <br />erected only for the period of the sale, not to exceed three (3) <br />days. In addition, one additional sign, not to exceed three <br />(3) square feet in area, shall be permitted to be posted at <br />the corner of the street on which the lot is located and which <br />sign shall remain erected only for the period of the sale, <br />not to exceed three (3) days. <br />1185.13 Apartment House and Restricted Multi-Story Apartment House <br />Districts. <br />Accessory signs in apartment house and restricted <br />multi-story apartment house districts shall be designed, erected, <br />altered, moved and maintained in whole or in part with these regula- <br />tions. The types of signs permitted as to use, structure, size and <br />number for each building or lot shall be regulated as follows: <br />(a) Development Signs. One temporary development sign <br />not to exceed thirty two (32) square feet in area and six (6) <br />feet in height above natural grade shall be permitted upon <br />the lot on which a building is under construction and located <br />not less than twenty (20) feet from the front or any side <br />lot line. The sign'shall be removed within fourteen (14) days <br />of the beginning of the intended use of the project. <br />(b) Directional Signs. Two (2) directional signs of <br />permanent construction each not exceeding four (4) square <br />feet in area or four (4) feet in height above natural grade <br />indicating traffic routes within parking areas or driveways <br />shall be permittd at any entrance/exit to a building or <br />lot, provided that no part of the sign or the support thereof <br />is located less than two (2) feet from any lot line. <br />Horizontal directional signs on and flush with paved areas <br />are exempt from these standards. Illumination is permitted <br />subject to the requirements of this Chapter. <br />(c) Identification Sign. One identification sign <br />not to exceed thirty two (32) square feet in area and four <br />(4) feet in height per complex shall be permitted provided <br />that such sign is located not less than thirty (30) feet <br />from the right-of-way line. <br />(d) Integral Signs. One integral sign not exceeding <br />two (2) square feet in area shall be permitted. <br />(e) Real Estate Signs. <br />(i) One temporary real estate sign not exceeding <br />six (6) square feet in area or three (3) feet in <br />height above natural grade shall be permitted.
