r ~ ~ <br />1. Review the existing flood insurance study, topographic maps, <br /> Interstate 271 plans and storm sewer plans. <br />2. Perform field investigations to dete rmine existing materials, sizes <br /> and dimensions of culverts, ditches, ponds and storm sewers. <br />3. Determine drainage areas, pervious and impervious areas, run off <br /> coefficient and storm water run off to assist in preliminary design <br /> of improvements. <br />4. Perform a preliminary sizing of culverts, storm sewers, open <br /> channels, retention ponds and outlet structures. <br />5. Review preliminary design criteria and information with the Owner. <br />6. Prepare estimates of costs of all proposed improvements. <br />7. Prioritize all recommended improvements. <br />8. Prepare a report summarizing the results of the study. <br />9. Prepare an exhibit which identifies each phase of the recommended <br />improvements. <br />10. Attend one formal meeting to present the report to the Owner. <br />SECTION III - PLAN REVIEW <br />A. As authorized by the Owner the E/A agrees to provide the necessary <br />professional services required to assist representatives of the Owner <br />with the design of each phase of the recommended improvements. The scope <br />of this work will include reviewing the design data and consistency of <br />improvements with the improvements recommended in Section II. <br />SECTION IV - CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT PLANS <br />A. As authorized by the Owner, the E/A agrees to provide the necessary <br />professional services required for the preparation of detailed plans and <br />specifications for all improvements authorized. These services shall <br />include the following: <br />1. Prepare detailed plans, specifications, contract documents and <br />estimates of cost for the improvements undertaken as directed by <br />the Owner. <br />2. Furnish four (4) complete copies of all detailed plans, <br />specifications, and estimates of cost to the Owner as part of this <br />contract. <br />2 <br />
