Engineering analysis, layout and evaluation of alternate designs <br />authorized by the Owner. <br />6. Preparation of reports involving detailed consideration of <br />operation, maintenance, and overhead expenses. <br />7. Additional services resulting from significant changes in the <br />general scope or design of the project. <br />8. Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for the <br />facilities. <br />9. Preparation of utility rate studies. <br />10. Furnishing services necessitated by delays beyond the control of <br />the E/A. <br />11. Preparation of "record drawings". <br />i2. Testing of shop, mill, field or laboratory materials. <br />13. Subsurface borings or underground investigations or explorations. <br />14. Make recommendations to the Owner and perform studies relative to <br />the methods of financing the proposed improvements. <br />15. Furnish laboratory services -in connection with water quality <br />determinations. <br />16. Furnish other professional services as required and as requested by <br />the Owner. <br />B. It is understood that when duly authorized the E/A shall perform such <br />additional services as indicated immediately above with their own <br />regularly employed personnel as applicable, or shall employ others to <br />perform such services when needed, or shall furnish consulting services <br />as required when others are employed directly by the Owner for the <br />performance of such services. <br />C. The Owner reserves the right to authorize the E/A to perform any or all <br />such services or to directly employ others for any or all such services. <br />D. It is understood that any plans or specifications required for the <br />purpose of taking bids or negotiating contracts for such additional <br />services shall be prepared by the E/A, as authorized by the Owner. <br />5 <br />
