The WACs are to provide input on <br />inspection, operation, maintenance and monitoring needs and activities and any prioritization <br />process used to rank activities, and to submit potential operation arid maintenance activities to <br />the District for consideration. <br />Section 2.4 - Regional Stormwater Standards __.. .. ... . ... ....: ... <br />The District may develop additional regional stormwater standards as may be necessary and . <br />reasonable to protect the Regional Stormwater System. As discussed in Chapter 6 of Title V, <br />regional stormwater standards will only be developed if deemed necessary by the District and <br />WACs. These standards, if developed; will be based on fmdings of Stormwater Master Plans for <br />each watershed in the District's stormwater service area and the recommendations of the WACs. <br />Per the requirements of Section 5.0401 of Title V, these additional standards will be developed ' <br />with review and comment of the WACs, and provided to Member Communities for review and <br />comment prior to consideration, and potential adoption, by the Board of Trustees. Section 2.5 - MS4 Stonnwater Management Programs (Phase II) and Technical Advice on <br />Stormwater Tssues - <br />Through the WACs the District will provide support to Members Communiries on their Phase II <br />MS4 Stormwater IVlanagement Programs, and techriical advice on flooding, erosion and <br />stormwater management issues along the. Local Stormwater System. The District will provide <br />WAC members information on support activities for their stormwater management programs. <br />This support includes but is not limited to: <br />1. Public Education and Information <br />2. Public Involvement <br />3. Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination Mapping and Source Tracking <br />4. Good Housekeeping Training <br />Additionally, the District will provide technical support to Members Communities on stormwater <br />issues such as flooding and erosion control. The District will use the WACs to help determine <br />the type of assistance needed by Member Communities along the Local Stormwater System, and <br />to annually review technical support acfivities.' <br />Section 3.0 Watershed Advisory Committee Meeting 5chedule and Expectations <br />The WACs will meet at least twice within a calendaz year to review and provide feedback on the <br />annual Stormwater Construction Plan revision process and stormwater master planning updates, <br />and to review and request inspection, operation, maintenance and monitoring activities.
