r• <br />• 3. Mobile Air Rescue Unit 577 shall be comprised of necessary components, <br />including: <br />A mobile air truck, more specifically known as <br />the 1986 Ford Louisville chassis; <br />An on-board air cascade system more specifically <br />known as the custom high pressure on-board air <br />cascade system; <br />A high pressure compressor more specifically <br />known as the Ingersoll-Rand 13.1 cfm unit; and <br />Miscellaneous tools and supplies related to the <br />above-listed pieces of equipment. <br />4. The participating municipalities further agree that a technical rescue team shall <br />be established, which shall be comprised of members of each of the <br />participating municipalities. Said members shall be appointed by their <br />respective Fire Chiefs. <br />5. The participating municipalities further agree that each community shall <br />• provide member(s) of its Fire Department for select training and monitoring as <br />members of the MAUTRT and that each member will be trained and <br />monitored for proficiency in each of the above-mentioned rescue services. <br />The Fire Chiefs of the participating municipalities and the commander shall <br />agree to and establish guidelines and levels of training to be followed. Should <br />the member(s) of any participating municipality be unable to perform the <br />duties required as a member of the MAUTRT, the commander of the <br />MAUTRT shall contact the Fire Chief of the participating municipality who <br />shall select a replacement member(s) from the participating community as soon <br />as reasonably possible. <br />6. Participating municipalities further agree that the Fire Chiefs from the <br />participating municipalities shall appoint a commanding officer from one of the <br />participating municipalities based on an affirmative vote of 2/3rds of the Fire <br />Chiefs. The commanding officer shall be responsible for the organization and <br />training of the members of the MAUTRT. Additionally, the commanding <br />officer shall prepare the annual budget for the MAUTRT and submit it to the <br />Fire Chiefs for their review. The tenure of the commanding officer shall be <br />ongoing unless the Fire Chiefs of the participating municipalities remove the <br />commanding officer by a vote of 2/3rds. <br /> <br />2 <br />
