Agreement bdween Mayfield V'illage and F.O.P. Lodge 57 <br />Section 19.13 The F.O.P. agrees to indemnify and hold the Employer harmless against any and all <br />claims, demands, suits, or other forms of liability that may arise out of any determination that the <br />F.O.P. failed to fairly represent a member of the bargaining unit during the exercise of his rights as <br />provided by the grievance procedure and arbitration procedwe contained herein. <br />ARTICLE 20 <br />HOURS OF WORK <br />Section 20.1. The basic work schedule for members of the bargaining unit shall consist of one <br />hundred sixty (160) hows in each twenty-eight (28) day work period. <br />Section 20.2. The Employer retains sole discretion as to the need for overtime work, and all assigned <br />overtime must be worked. All pvertime work must be authorized by the Ma.yor or his authorized <br />representative, except that where overtime work is performed in an emergency without prior <br />authorization, the overtime work shall be reported to the Ma.yor or his authorized representative for <br />confirmation that such an emergency existed and for authorization of the overtime work. <br />ARTICLE ZI <br />OVERTIME <br />Section 21.1. Overtime hours are those hours worked in excess of foriy (40) hours in each scheduled <br />work week. Overtime hours shall be compensated at a rate deternfined by dividing the employee's <br />annual base rate plus longevity pay by 2080 hours, and multiplying by one and one-half (1 1/2) tunes. <br />Vacation, holida.ys, personal days used during any portion of the work week sha11 be counted for the <br />purpose of detemuning the existence of overtime worked during that period. <br />ARTICLE 22 <br />COURT TIME/CALL IN TIME <br />Section 22.11 Employees required to appear at Court,.when not on duty, shall receive a minimum of <br />two (2) hours pay. <br />Section 22.2. In the event that a member, is required to report for any duties other than those on his <br />regular shift then such a member shall be compensated for such additional duties. Under these <br />circumstances, each such member shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours compensation. <br />Page 17 of 35
