Employees sunaaoned for jury service shall be fully <br />paid at their regular rates of compensation when required to serve <br />as jurors. AlI fees paid to such full-time employees for jury <br />service shall be remitted to the Director of Finance. At no time <br />shall overtime be paid as a result of jury service. <br />ARTICLE i 6 <br />M~'LI Z9ARY NICE <br />Section 16.1. Employees who are members of the Ohio National <br />Guard, the Ohio Defense Corps, the Ohio Naval Militia or.members of <br />other reserve components of Armed Forces of the United State are <br />entitled to a leave of absence from their respective duties for <br />such time as they are ordered by the military to report for <br />military service or field training or active duty for periods not <br />to exceed thirty-six (36) days in one calendar year. Affected <br />employees will provide a copy of such orders to the Employer as <br />early as reasonably possible so that all necessary arrangements can <br />be made. Military time will not be used in the calculation of <br />overtime. <br />f1RTICLE 17 <br />P~RSOrrr~s ~-izES ~uvv ~oz~cy <br />Section 17.1. Understanding that in administration of the Police <br />Depar*anent the employer maintains individual personnel files, an <br />employee may be permitted to review on an annual basis his or her <br />personnel file with at least a five (5} day written request. In <br />addition, a department member may inspect his or her file at once <br />in direct response to a pending grievance or official matter. <br />Section 17.2. Should an employee upon review of his or her file <br />come across material of a negative or derogatory nature, the <br />employee may provide a written and signed comment in rebuttal, <br />mitigation or explanation of said material, which comment shall <br />remain in the employee's file so long as the negative material <br />remains. <br />Page 15 of 43 <br />
