No more than six (6) weeks, one (1) day of vacation time for more than Twenty-Five (25) <br />years of service or fourteen (14) tours, 18 hours for full-time firefighters. <br />11. The head of each department shall determine the schedule vacations for the employees <br />thereof. <br />12. "Year of Employment" as used in this Section pertaining to vacation schedules means years <br />of employment with Mayfield Village only. <br />However, any employee of the Municipality who has been previously employed in a full- <br />time capacity by the State of Ohio or any of its political subdivisions, providing a letter of <br />verification from the prior public employee is submitted within the 1st year of employment <br />with the Village, is entitled to have such prior service counted as years of employment for <br />the purpose of computing vacation time herein and shall be credited as such on January 1st <br />after initial employment with the Village. <br />2000-2002 Wage Ordinance: 2000-14 <br />Page 16 of 25 <br />
