URSG will develop design strategies for multi purpose stormwater management, wetland preservation,
wetland mitigation, and public pazk areas to serve the total project development. This stormwater system will
be designed to decrease quantities of runoff from development as well as increase runoff water quality. It
is assumed that any wetland impacts created by street widenings would also be incorporated into onsite
wetland mitigation. The Master Site Plan illustrates multiple (approximately 8) proposed stormwater
retention lakes on the site to provide stormwater management for the total project. This stormwater/wetland
area will be graded and landscaped to provide bike trails in a naturalized public pazk setting. URSG will
prepaze a color rendered Preliminary Plan suitable for Zoning Commission submittal illustrating the proposed
stormwater management/wetland mitigation park azea.
URSG will prepaze Construction Documents including plans, specifications and calculation submittals for
stormwater management and wetland mitigation for the total project. URSG will prepare final stormwater
management calculations for submittal to the City Engineer.
URSG will provide services during two phases of construction to ensure compliance with plans and permit
conditions. URSG will provide annual wetland monitoring reports for the required 5 yeaz post construction
monitoring services to document wetland mitigation azeas comply with permit conditions.
TASK DESCRIPTIONS
Task 1 -Wetland Delineation Field Data Collection:. URSG will conduct wetland field data collection
in accordance with methodologies set forth in the 1987 Corps Wetlands Delineation Manual and recent Corps
regulatory guidance. The routine on-site determination method will be used. Vegetation of existing plant
communities will be characterized as to dominant species, soil profiles will be exposed and examined for
signs of hydric soils, and signs of wetlands hydrology will be sought. All probable jurisdictional wetlands
and other waters of the U.S. will be delineated and documented with data plots. Adjacent representative
upland areas will also be documented with data plots. The plot locations, as well as the wetland boundary
points will be flagged in the field. Color photos of representative areas will be taken to document site
conditions.
Task 2 -Prepare Draft and Final .Wetland Delineation Resort: URSG will prepare a complete report of
the wetland delineation consistent with the Buffalo Corps' Guidance for Submittal of Wetland Delineation
Reports and § 404 permit application requirements. Data sheets will be produced for each plot conducted
in wetlands, as well as in adjacent representative upland azeas. Using best professional judgement, a brief
assessment of the quality of the wetlands will be made. .
The report mapping will indicate the delineated boundaries of wetlands/waters based on best professional
judgement using available landmarks and available topographic mapping. The wetland figure will be acolor-
plotted, E-sized drawing for ease of use. Four (4) comer-stapled draft copies of the report will be prepared,
two (2) of which will be provided to Mayfield Village. Upon Mayfield Village 's review and approval, four
(4) GBC-bound copies of the final report will be prepazed, two (2) of which will be provided to Mayfield
Village. t
Task 3 -Conceptual Wetland Mitigation Master Plan Preparation/Presentation: URSG will prepare
a Draft Wetland Mitigation Master Plan. The main deliverable of this Master Plan will be a lazge-scale color
rendering of a possible layout of the stormwater management/wetland mitigation park. The objective of
preparing a Draft Master Plan will be to solicit comments/approval on the plan from the Mayfield. Three (3)
copies of a Preliminary Draft Master Plan will be provided to Mayfield Village for review. Upon approval,
a copy of the Draft Master Plan will be presented by URSG to the Mayfield Village Zoning Commission.
Commission comments on the Draft Plan will be addressed and incorporated into Construction Documents.
Q:\BD150306Q\I[1T-VIEW\\WKORDITO.WPD 2 URS Greiner
