Endress, that Ordinance <br />No. 451 be passed as read. <br />Roll Call ~ Ayes - Nla:ltz, S1oan,Endress, Scheuring, Oatess & Cass. <br />- .Nays - None _ . '- ... <br />Motion Carried <br />0 rdinance Passed <br />I~r. Fellner of the Redifer ]3us Company asked for permission to <br />establish a bus terminal in the Village. He stated that the company has <br />outgrown its present terminal in Mayfield Heights and is interested in <br />establishing a building two or three times the size of the present <br />building. The company is now obligated to keep approximately 11~. buses <br />standing outdoors in all weather, which is bad for the: vehicles. It <br />needs a building about 200 x 300 feet for a terminal and shop where <br />the company can do its maintenance repair and painting worm. He enquired <br />as to whether ar~y'one knew of a~~ i site. in the Village for such a building. ~ ' ' ~ . <br />The compar~y would need a plot of land at least 500 feet square. Dr. Z~Val1~; <br />stressed the advantage. of having a waiting room for,pass.engers.. Vari ous <br />councilmen and residents asked questions and expressed their opinions as <br />to the location of such a building. <br />1!l~s. Cass introduced Ordinance No. x.52 entitled: "An Ordinance <br />Giving Gonsent,of the Village;of Mayfield_to,-the Removal of Snow and Ice From <br />Certain-.'.Str..eets ~~'ithin the Village" which ordinance was read to Council® <br />It was moved by Dr. ~'~altz, seconded by r~Ir. Sloan, that the rules <br />of law .requiring an Ordinance to be read three times be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - 'u~Ialtz, Sloan, Endress,Scheuring,0atess & Cass. <br />Nays - None. <br />PJlotion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Dr ..VTaltz, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that Ordinance <br />No. 1~~2 be passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - ~f~~altz, S1oan,Endress,Scheuring,0atess & Cass® <br />RTays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />1 <br />A request was read from the East Ohio Gas Company to construct <br />gas mains on the South side of .~3everly Drive, 'lest of 1~Vorton Park Drive <br />and on the tiVest side of ~oodla.ne and the South side of ti~Toodland Road as <br />shovTn by Prints attached to the request® It was moved by I~~r. Sloan, <br />seconded by Dr. 's~altz, that all these requests of the East Ohio Gas Co. <br />be approved subject to the consent of property owners on such streets <br />as are not dedicated. <br />The fl~ayor read a letter from fl~s; . E. Horton Hall thanking the <br />Fire Department for its prompt:response to his call regarding a field fire. <br />3. <br />
