Mr. D~nore-stated that the only difference was that proposed Ordinance No. X;68 contemplated the construction of asphaltic roads rather than concrete roads. Dr. Sowin stated that the situation in the Village of Mayfield differed in that 100 foot lots here required and that lots could not be as rapidly solde , Mr. V6'hiting stated that he thought that the contractors_should have more time to eacam.ine,the proposed Ordinance and to.prepare their criticisms. Blir. Whiting also suggested that the matter be referred to the Planning and Zoning Committee for their further consideration. _ • Mayer Hodgson suggested that the matter had already been considered by the Planning and Zoning Committee and that the next action should be taken by Council. .. . Mr. Taylor stated that the matter was of sufficient importance to extend the time for discussion of proposed Ordinance No...~.68 and that the group represented by Dr. Sowin should prepare their suggestions for presentation to Council and that sufficient copies of such recommendations should be prepared so that each Councilman has an individual copy for his inspection. Mayor Hodgson stated that a special meeting would be held on August 189 195 at 8x00 P. M. to consider proposed Orci~-nance No® x.68, and that the group represented by Dr. Sowin should prepare sufficient copies of the suggested changes so that .each Councilman may have a copy for his ir~pection during the: enstaing discussion. , . . Center Road from the center line of Filson Mi11s Road southerly to the South Corporation line of the Village of Mayfield may now be passed, as the Clerk has filed his certificate that no protests were filed during the statutory time. Mr. Eeard introduced Ordinance No. x.70 entitled: °An Ordinance to Levy Special Assessments for the Improvement of SOM Center Road in the Village of.Mayfield9 Ohio9 from the center line of Wilson Mills Road in a Southerly Direction to the south corporation line of the Village of Mayfield by the Construction of a Water Blain and Appurtenances therein", which ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Taylor and seconded by Mr. Endress9 that the rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended.
