Tize Company enclosed an ordinance <br />asking that this be passed, accepting the 3 discount. <br />Mr. Beard then introduced Ordinance No. 199 entitled, "An Ordinance <br />to Amend Contract of the Village of Mayfield, Olio, with the Cleveland <br />Electric Illuminating Company Relating to Street Lighting Service and to <br />Ratify and Confirm the Existing Contract in a]1 other respects", which <br />ordinance was read to Council. It eras moved by T~ir. Whiting, seconded by <br />NTr. No action was taken on this letter. <br />The Clerk then read to Council a letter from T'Tr. Clarence Leppelmeier <br />of 913 SOM Road, in which Mr. Leppe7lneier asked Council to accept his <br />resignation from the Mayfield ~oltulteer Fire Department, because he felt <br />that he was no longer wanted and had not received ticifets for last year's <br />Home Day and had lost iris Captain's badge. -He also asked that the Fire <br />phone, which had been installed in nis place-of business many years ago, <br />be removed. Mr. Leppelmeier also stated in his letter that he was dis- <br />satisfied with the present attitude of our police department in making <br />purchases of gas and accessories, and felt that it should have been made <br />~.. <br />
