Ou„r Engineer then showed Council the prel.im:inary plat of the Robley Lane Development and stated that a17. lots were over ow.~ maximum specifiea•tions for lots. It was then moved by Mr. Beard, seconded by T`Ir. Swanson, that the' preliminary plat of the Robley Lane Development be approved. Rol]. Ca11: Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor, Beard ~ Oatess _ Nays - done. Motion carried The Clerk was then asked to write a letter stating that the preliminary plat .. of the Robley Lane Development had been approved by record vote of Co~mcil. _ Mr. Swanson then presented to Council two deeds, one from Tyr. Taylor and two from T'Irs. Reid of a 10 foot strip along Beech Hill Road to be used by the Village for the purpose of widening Beech ~i.ll Road. M.r. Sorenson then introduced Resolution No. 287 entitled: "A. Resolution Accepting Warranty Deeds for Property Along Beech Hil.]. Road from Virginia M. Taylor, And Elizabeth Berm Reid.for Street Widening Purposes", which Rssolution.t~as read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Strater, seconded by Mr. Beard, that the rules of l.aw requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Motion carried Resolution passed T'Tr. Swanson then stated that Tlr. Sam Wellman; attorney for ~Ir: Taylor and T~Zrs. Reid wanted two certified copies of this resolution. Mr. Edelman reported that University T~eights had asked for a renewal. of their Contract for Radio Service and•had submitted a contract for approval. After dete~~ ni ng that the rates Caere the same, Mr. Strater, seconded by Mr. Taylor, introduced Ordinance No. 510 entitled, "An Ordinance to Enter into a Contract with the City of University Heights for Radio Broadcasting Service for Two Years Commencing June 1, 1955", which Ordinance was read to Council. .. 4.
