It was moved by Mr® Swanson, seconded by Mr. Taylor, that said Resolution be approved as read. .Roll Call: Ayes Messrs Taylor, Strater, Beard, Oatess & Swanson Nays - Nonem Motion carried Resolution Passed Mayor Endres then reported that he~had several complaints about sunken driveways in the wake of the Sewer project. These complaints usually happened after rains and especially over the week-end when the contractors were away. He asked Mr. Edelman what branch of the village body had authority to. control this situation and in what way could it be controlled. Mr. Hecker of the Pease Engineering said that his firm were the engineers on -this project and if the matter was reported to him early in the morning, he would see that it was rectified at once. He told Council that this project was no different from any of the water mains we had constructed and the contractors were responsible at all times. Mr. Endres then reported that he had received some literature on Electric Disposals which could be used with septic tanks and turned the file over to the Safety and Service Committee for their study. Mayor Endres then asked for a report from the Zoning and Planning Commission. 1'~r. Swanson,,rep.orting, stated. that his. committee had met in the Vi3lage Ha11 on September 29th with Mr. Swanson, Mayor Endress and Mi. Reed present... Mr. Swanson then proceeded to read the minutes of-this meeting, which in effect concerned a preliminary plat for subdivision of 59 lots East of S01~1 Center and North of the Fisher Development, plus subdivision of 20 lots for a continuation of Thornapple Road to the East of the present Fisher development. The plat was approved by unanimous vote of the members present and recommendations made,tha-t it be presented to Council for approval. Gerome and Capretta Builders, Inc. then presented this plat, which was studied by Council for 15 minutes... - Mr® S~rans.on also reported_.that.Mrs. L. J• Malik appeared before the Commission with a planrvfor subdividing property in her husband°s name on Lander Road into three parcels.
