Motion carried . <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Resolution No. 447 entitled: «An Emergency Resolution Givi.ng Consent to <br />the Qillage of Mayfield' Giuyahoga Coun•ty, Ohi.o, to the Constraetion, Mainf,enance <br />and Operation of a Freeway uhder the'Supervision of the -Director of Highways of <br />the 'State, of Ohio, and 'Proposing to Cooperate i-Tith said TJ'irecf.or i.n Certain <br />Matters Incici.ent Thereto", previously placed on its first reading, again came <br />up f or da.s cus sion by Couneil. <br />: Mr:. Petex°sorn was then asked about the dx°ain froni Lqorton Park and <br />explained that this drain went under Sdilson Iqlls and an 84 inch cu.3.vert was <br />adequate. r1r. Peterson said this did no 'u drain inta the Freeway, but trent <br />under Trlilson Mil].s west of the Freeway. Mayor Endress asked if arlyone had <br />any complaints. No one had, but Mr. Zorn remarked that so many of the people <br />along -Wilson Mil1s had been under a strain over the Freeway, not, knovririg <br />what to do or when things were going to be settlecl, -that' if possible, Council <br />should get the thing over with 'and not leave it hanging in air arxi giv&further <br />cause for amciety to the people in its pathe , Nlr. Edelman theri read the <br />resolution to Counci.l.. Mr. Zorn then spoke of the maps that he had traced and <br />taken to the people along the Freeway and said tliey had aslted when we were going <br />to have the resol.uti.on 'passed so they could 'get out. Mr:- Zorn again said that <br />he would 23.ke to see the Resoluta.on passed. It was then inoved by Mr. Zorn' <br />seconded by Mrs. Bz•owmm, that the rules of law requlrs.ng a resol.ution to be <br />read on'three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes'- Messrs Zorn,TnTedler,Strater,Brown9Grooteg'o--d & Hopkins. <br />Nays - Nonea <br />Motion carxied <br />. . . .
