Mr. Edelman <br />said that he had received a reply and -that we were the ones that would have to ' <br />pay for moving these utilities. Mr. Edelman said that if the house bi11 not-T <br />pending were passed Mr. DoLl.ard did not think it would affect this project. <br />Mr. Peterson again said that we should have a detail.ed bi1l before we did <br />ariythin; at all. Mr. 'Peterson was then aslced to get a detailed bill from <br />the County on this project. A letter from Mr. Dollard was t,hen given to .. <br />Mr. Peterson.. <br />Mayor Erxire5s then asked for a report from the C.ommittees. <br />Mrs. Browm, reporting f'or the Architeetural Board., said that they had <br />approved p7rans for 17 new homes; ichat she had to1.d Mrs. Bardou to go ahead <br />T,sith her plans, bat had not heard from hex°. . <br />, Nir, Hopkins, regorting for the, BuiZding Committee,_said that the tiling <br />had been completed on the upper floor and, as the bi7.l had been presented and <br />was $232,00, Mr. Hoplfl.ns had called the tiling compariy, raho said that there had <br />been an es°ror in measuring and to make the bi11 $157.00 ans-tead of the $212a00. <br />6'JS, aa <br />Mr.: Wedler; reporta:ng for the 'Planning and Zoning Comnissican, said that <br />they had met on May 5, 1959, with 4 members -present. A request was heard from <br />Gordon R.cagers for permission to subdivide his 1o-t facing Beech Hi17_ Road. No <br />action .was talten on this request. The Corrmittee then held a discussion on <br />modernizing Zoning Orclinance No. 471. Mr. Tgedler said that in checking the, <br />Vil;lage maps,_it was noted that quite a few properties.which have been recor.ded <br />were not shown on the map4 The Commission recommended that Council request.., <br />Mro Peterson to suUmit a n estimate of the cost of bringiug the village map <br />up to dateo <br />. I. Mr. Peterson_said tha-t this Urou3d probably cost $50.00 or $75.00e As <br />this was too indefinite, Council asked that Mr. Peterson bring a figure for this <br />to tb-e next meeting. This also brought up a discussion of some of t,he Village <br />ax^eas in danger of being l.andlocked by misfit developmentv Mr. Hopkins asked <br />if we could not have a street map of the vi_L1age made so that we cauld°study_ <br />these developments. 'Mayor Endress then spoke of the Regional Planning Commission <br />and some af the troub7.es we had had in the past when considering'the same <br />conditions. Mayor Eridress said that Council always had a profile of the plat <br />plans when they came in. Mayor Endress said that Council and the Zoning Board <br />should keep a cheek on theseplans and see that there was aecess to-adjoining <br />property. Mrm Edel.man said that perhaps we should have the.Regional Plannirg <br />Commission look at our p34ns for the proper use of the areas. Mention was <br />then made of apartment houses being planned for the property accross from the <br />Weisberg property. Mayor Endress said that the P'lanning and Zoning Commission <br />was working on the area to a certain extent. ' <br />Mr. Zorn said that we should get a map of the Village and sit down with <br />a pen and work up maps of our own and this woul.d not cost us too mueh, and <br />spoke of reserving certain areas for a speaial purpose. <br />3.
