<br /> Mayor Endress then reported that he had had two or three inquiries on <br /> tree planting by the Illuminating Company and had-written and asked for a <br /> survey on the type of trees to plant on our streets. He said that they had a <br /> landscape man caho would come out and make a survey on the type of tree's needed, <br /> Mayor Endres3 then read a letter from Mr. L., C. Howley, saying that they would <br /> . schedule a master tree plan immediat'ely. <br />. rirs. Brown, reporting for the Archii:ectural Board, said that they had <br />met on July 27th, and August lOth, and approved plans for six houses, 5 additions, <br />and 1 garageo <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter f ron Mr. Wieland, reporting on Building <br />Permits f or this year as compared with last year. • <br />The l3uilding Committee had nothing ito report. <br />NIr. Zorn, reporting for the Finance Committee, said that his committee <br />had found a11 bi11s to be correct and the Pay Ordinance okay, and recommended <br />that it be passed. <br />It was then moved byMr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that Pay•Ordinance <br />No. 456-P be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Gledler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - Noneo • Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. 7orn then gave Council a rousing talk on the state of our finances <br />and ended by saying that we did not have sufficient money to pay any future bi'lls. <br />Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mrs. Brown, then introduced Resolution No. 508, <br />enti-tled; "A Resolution Requesting the County Auditor to Advance the Sum of <br />$10,000,00 to the Village of Mayfield Out of Current Tax Collections", which <br />resolution w3s read to Councilm <br />It was moved by Mr. Grootegoed, seconded by Mrs. Brown, that the rules <br />of law requiring a resoZution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, <br />Ro11 Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None, • Motion carried <br />Rules_Suspended <br />Tt was moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that Resolution <br />No. 508 be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />- Motion carried <br />' Resolution Passed <br />5.
