Mr. Edelman reported that the State Highway had submitted an ordinance
<br />to the Village consenting to the maintenance of Route 271. Mr. Sloan, seconded
<br />by Mr. Belzer,,then introduced Ordinance No. 890, entitled; "An Emergency
<br />Ordinance:in the Niatter of the Maintenance, Repair and Operation of Interstate
<br />liighway 1-27111, which ordinance was read to Council.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the rules of
<br />law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended.
