Mr._Belzer, seconded by Mr. Mason, then introduced Ordinance Noo.906, <br />entitled: "An Ordinance Permitti_ng dwners of Property Abutting Ridgebury Boulevard <br />to install sidewalks at their own expense on certain conditions", which ordinance <br />was read to Council. <br />It was moved byMr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the rules of law <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Nlason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />' Nays - None. < < <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by NIr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that Ordinance No. 906 <br />be approved and"passed as reada <br />Roll Call: Ayes -Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />? Motion carried <br />. . Ordinance Passed <br />? <br />Mayor Endress then spoke of the pnoposed traffic light for Ridgebury at <br />Lander and said that, Mayfield Heights had agreed to pick up one half the cost <br />and Highland Heights a quarter_which would leave one quarter for Mayfield Village. <br />Mayor Endress.said that the bids were out but it would not be decided until the <br />September meeting. Council tabled this matter until they had more inf ormation. <br />'NIr. Sloan, secottded by Mr. Mason, then,introduced Ordinance No. 907, <br />entitled; "An Ordinance Authorizing Payment of one-f ourth of the cost oF <br />Installation and Maintenance of a Street Traffic Zight at the Intersection of <br />Lander Road and Ridgebury Boulevard", which ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by D1r: Belzer, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the rules of law <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Dlessrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />it was moved_by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr; Mason, that Ordinance:No. 907 <br />be approved and passed as reacl. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />. . Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Edelman said that three banks had submittec bids and we should have <br />an ordinance to award deposits to these three banks. Mr. Shaw, seconded by <br />Mr. Walker, then introduced Ordinance No. 908, entitled: "An Ordinance llesignating <br />Central National Bank of Cleveland, The National City Banlc.of Cleveland,.and The <br />Cleveland Trust Company as I,egal Depositories f or the Village of_ Mayfield, Ohio", <br />which ordinance was read to Council. <br />3.
