Sloan & Belzero <br />? • Nays - None. - <br />Motion carried <br />Mr. Shortle said that he would furnisn our Solicitor with specif ications. <br />Mayor Endress then brought up the fact that there was a Seniinar on <br />Finance to be held at the Sheraton Hotel and asked any Councilman who could get <br />away to get in touch with him. Mayor Endress then read their program to Council. <br />Mayor Endress asked Mr. Edelman about cooperating with the other counties <br />on the 7-County Transportation program9 the cost f or this'to'be not:more than <br />$196.00. This was tabled until later. Mr. Bennett then asked about getting <br />out some publicity on the Renewal of our Operating Zevy. Mr. Shortle said that <br />he would try and go door to door with this information. <br />. Mr. Edelman then notif ied Council that he had a check to cancel a paving <br />assessment. Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced Resolution No. 660 <br />entitled: "A Resolution to Cancel the Installments of Paving Assessments f or <br />Certain Years on Parcel No. 831-38-107 on Bonnieview Road", which Resolution was <br />read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mre Sloan, that the rules of law <br />requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />' Nays - None. . _. , _ <br />'Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that Resolution No. <br />660 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Benriett, Walker, Mason, Sloan &.Belzer. <br />Nays - None. • ' -- ' <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />. __ , . <br />Mr. Peterson said that he had discussed the Worton Park Paving with the <br />Schloss Paving Company and they will put the Culverts in, starting inunediately. <br />Mr. Peterson said that he felt, however, that it would be better f or the job <br />if they started in the Spring and had it all done together; that this was up <br />to Counci.l.- Mr•-Edelman.said that .it. could be worked out to save some interest. <br />After some discussion, it was the concensus among the Councilmett not to go ahead <br />until Spring and try to save interest on the money we had borrowed. <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter f rom the State Department of Health on <br />a Water Pollution Control Board, <br />3.
